The ruins near Altberg have been there and subject to rumors ever since you've known, and probably longer. To your knowledge though, nobody has ever explored them. You thought about exploring them several times before you left the village just to see if they were as haunted as everyone thought they were, but you just never quite got around to it.

Now seems like the perfect time being a dedicated fighter of evil and all, of course you could decide not to bother.
