"You're married to Brenda and having a kid, can't be that bad." You say.
"Excuse me Mr. Free Spirit, but do you know anything about married life? No. So shut the hell up." He remarks and goes back to drinking.

Not much point in pressing the matter as it would look like any "rivalry" you had in the past is obviously moot. You've come out the better apparently.

Saying nothing more, you leave Klint to his drink and go home to sleep.
