The ruins near Altberg have been there and subject to rumors ever since you've known, and probably longer. To your knowledge though, nobody has ever explored them. You thought about exploring them several times before you left the village just to see if they were as haunted as everyone thought they were, but you just never quite got around to it.

Now seems like the perfect time if you're feeling heroic. Or even if you're not feeling heroic, you could still see what riches they might hold. (After chopping up all the monsters of course)

Of course you could decide that heroics or pure greed isn't worth it and not bother.
