A Man's Change

Julian gets home late one night, and creeps quietly into his room, not disturbing his parents. He quickly shuts the door behind him before stripping off his clothes and jumping into his bed. He climbs underneath the duna before feeling something hard in it. He pulls it out and it's an open book. Without realising he reads the words on the page. Suddenly, he falls asleep.
He awakes to his mum yelling for him to get up from downstairs. He feels weird but shrugs it off to being just the aftereffects of last night.
