Run

Day One, 0511

Nothing. You can feel nothing. You don't even acknowledge this, for you are sleeping.

Abruptly, a rough tug shakes you out of the darkness and into the light. A dark figure arches over you, and the eyes that belong to it are staring deep into yours with hints of concern and impatience. Artificial light stings your eyes and you wince, baring your teeth. Instinctively, you pull your sheets over your eyes. Seeing this, the figure tells a third person to turn down the lights, and your eyes relax.

"What the hell?" You moan. Your movement is slow, and your voice isn't as loud as usual because you are groggy from less than four hours of sleep after a long day.

Hold on a moment… You are?
