Lady Fesia

Lady Fesia is a stern faced, pale-haired knightess with a broad nose and full lips; plain of face but not ugly. She stands at five and a half feet, lithe and muscled. She is in her mid-twenties. Fesia wears light plate armor and wields a flanged iron mace. She became an ordained knight at the age of twenty, and has become renown for her healing skills.

Although it is not common practice, it is not unheard of for a second or third daughter to enter knighthood. Fesia is the second born daughter of House Bainwright, a minor noble family pledged to the Hadleys (a slightly greater house in the central riverlands). While she is a skilled warrior, she is more revered for her healing skills.

She is generally an even tempered woman who believes in thinking before acting, a trait that usually benefits her but sometimes results in detrimental delays when immediate action is required.

Sir Dagon

Dagon is a tall wirey young man of seventeen years. He hails from the Southern Islands, and like all islanders his skin and hair are dark. He has a thin handsome face that would make him a sought after companion if he weren't from an upstarted gamily of slaves. He tends to bottle emotions up inside, dwelling on them unhealthily until at some point he explodes.

Sir Dagon Haldrick, fourth son of a native Southern Island family. He was sent to the riverlands as a ward with House Hadley where he was to be trained to be a "proper knight." The Haldrick's are native islanders given the role of nobility along with two other families, in an effort by King Marrik Aldaire to ease tension in the islands. The slave trade, however; was not something that could be mended by offering a few families exemption.

Their people despise them as traitors, the non-islanders look down on them as something less than commoners but something more than slaves. There are few noble houses who will work with the Haldricks unless to a great personal benefit. The Hadley's were given fifty slaves and near three pounds of gold for warding Dagon.

Sir Brakkon

Sir Brakkon Dake He is a bear of a man, standing well over six feet tall; broad shouldered and barrel chested. He is in his late thirties, a well seasoned knight known for his fierceness in battle as well as his prowess in melee tournaments. No one knows what brought him from his homeland to the service of Lord Verod Hadley, but he has proven to be a loyal servent and trusted advisor. He is considered the head knight in the land, even among Lord Verod's sons.

Sir Brakkon hails from the South Eastern edge of the continent. The Dake's are not one of the major families; but are old and well respected. They owe allegiance to House Mantross, who rule the South East under King Marrik himself.

Brakkon barks orders and expects these orders to be followed without question. He is a man who is quick to action. He is loud and boistrous and prone to alcohol abuse. There are times when he disappears and no one knows where he goes save for his squire, who tells no one. there are rumors of a curse.
