Frontier Man
The soldier takes you to the Fort Kearny Military Facility and takes you to General Maxwell. The soldier explains what had happened. You are now handcuffed trying to stay sat up in the chair, but the world is still spinning. General Maxwell is furious. He gives the soldier some orders, but you can't understand him. The soldier pulls you up and guides you to the jail where you wait overnight.
The next morning General Maxwell comes to the cell in which you are being contained. "Boy, I'd like to let you know that you have killed a United States Soldier with no reason at all. There were plenty of witnesses and plenty of evidence to prove you guilty. That offense is punishable by death and death alone. Do you have family? A woman? Anyone?"
All you can do is nod your head. You can't bring yourself to speak.
"Well son, here is a piece of paper and pen. You can write to them to tell them what's going on so they won't miss you. You have three hours." With that the General left.
Are you going to write to your parents?
