Ground Dweller
I wandered around the desert, hoping that I could find a place to call my home for the night. The winds started to carry some weight as it picked up the sand and they it in my face. I took my t-shirt which has started to turn to rags and covered up my nose and mouse, and I used my hands to shield my eyes.
The sun started to set beyond the horizon, and night started to fall on the dunes of sand. I could not see that far ahead, but the light surely vanished in minutes.
Through the flying sand, I could see a shadow of a hut made of iron pillars and rusted tin sidings. Once I saw that, I started sprinting, it was not even a hundred meters ahead of me.
Once I reached it and collapsed all my weight on to the side and started to search for the door. I dragged my body along the sides of the hut and I finally hit an opening.
There was a door and a window. The door was made of metal, busted off it's hinges, and buried deep in sand. The window beside it hand broken glass, but seemed like I could slip through it.
