You decide to try your luck with the dusty metallic building labeled "Spacer's Hostel". Immediately when you push open the doors you are met with an aroma that is tangy and dirty. What you expected. You go up to the counter where a long-headed Giorin is lazily staring ahead. You cough to get his attention.

"Yes, yes, do you need help?" he says as he comes to.

"I'd like to take a room for tonight."

"Sure thing," he says and now that his eyes are finally upon you, you can tell that he notices there is something official about you. He hastily makes your transaction and then tosses over a silver card. "Free dinner too just so you know," he calls as you walk away down the hall.

You open the door to your room, IE2, and are met with shabby accomodations. Not that you really care at this point. You need to get to Baraza and start on your mission. It worries you that there's someone still out there with your identity as well. You try to make contact with the U.G. but for some reason you cannot catch a signal. You lie on the bed in frustration.

A couple hours later you head down to the restaurant feeling deeply hungry. You see that it is the Giorin man's wife cooking, her cooking hat way too big for her head. You help yourself to the meal, some sliced gruveworm and a spiced brown oatmealy-type substance. All in all, it's not too bad. Not too good either though.

You notice a few people playing cards and one of them motions for you to come over to their table. It is a human man with dark hair, alongside a Slabreth and a Dervier. The Dervier twitches his dog-like snout and brushes a dreadlock out of his dark eyes as you sit down.

"How are you doing tonight, Ranger?" asks the man, grinning behind his card hand.

You aren't going to ask him how he knew you were a Ranger. "Fine, just trying to get my bearings. Who are you?"

"The name's Marcos," he says, now reeling in a large sum of chips to himself from the middle. The Slabreth starts shuffling. "I have a contact in Baraza who's a little concerned you didn't meet him today."

Your eyes widen. "They wouldn't let me land in Baraza. They said someone else looked like me."

Marcos laughs. "Yes, I know all about that. I planned it, after all."

You feel your hand slip to the handle of your gun. You knew you didn't like this guy.

"So you're for the Grapplers then?" you ask him.

"Sure, whatever you say. Sack him." As he says this, the Dervier incapacitates you in an instant with an electrobar. Everything goes black.

When you come to, you are racing under the night desert sky. You sense that you are being carried in a speeder. You try and discretely move your muscles but find yourself to be still very numb. You can only gaze out at the sky as the speeder zooms on.

An hour into this, the speeder stops. You hear a door open, then shouting, then laserfire from guns. You now have some feeling back in your arms and legs, and its about time for you to make your move.

What should you do?
