Your name is Simon De Luca. You're the bastard son of one of the world's most powerful psychics. You inherited much from your father. People say you're obsessed with sex, but you like to think of yourself as a connoisseur of love. You're a Charmer, a psychic able to telepathically project thoughts and suggestions into other peoples' minds. You are also able to read the minds of non-psychics, but you're still not too good at it.
You were born and raised in Brooklyn. Your mother was a good woman who did the best she could with the son she got. Your father was never around. He got your mother pregnant then never showed up until your powers began to emerge. That's how you found out who your father was, at the age of thirteen.
After that, your father came by for annual visits to check on the progress of your abilities. When he was not around, you acted out and got in trouble more times than you can count. You finally wound up in jail with a pretty nasty looking future ahead of you.
You charmed your way out of that pickle, but your father found out and drafted you into the service of STAR- a secret society which monitors and controls supernatural activity across the globe.
You hated your father at first. You still rarely saw him. It seemed every other STAR agent you met knew your father better than you did. Then your father died. He was one of the first casualties of the Purge.
Dr. Zippe drafted you on to his psychic special ops team, placing you in your father's previous position.
That's when you met Knox, Ione, and of course Ashley.
You had been on the team for some time before the "Europeans" were recruited. They all showed up at the same time. They were all part of Knox's team, drafted into service on your team.
Knox thinks you're a fool. You think he's a pompous jerk.
Ione thinks you're a goof. You think she's kinda cute.
Ashley and you... Well, you have something more deep with her. You both are driven by the need to show that you are your own person, not relying on daddy's graces and good works. The two of you have started a relationship recently, but it's nothing serious... You don't think anyway. You've been meaning to talk to her about it.
Ashley is Scottish. She's been Knox's right-hand woman for quite a while, so she's awfully loyal to him. She's a Pretender, meaning she can absorb knowledge and skills from nowhere and seems able to adapt to any situation. She has the most remarkable green eyes you have ever seen.
So here you are. You're in New Mexico to investigate the disappearance of a field operations cell. This building is a motel, the last known location of the cell before their sudden disappearance.
Mission Objective: Investigate Disappearance of 'Agent Lupus' and his cell.
