Worlds Apart

Sky gives a nod in response to your offer. "Very well. I'm afraid I only have one blanket - although I'm sure you can use it if you'd like to."

You shake your head. You don't need very much comfort; and you can stretch out on the ground fairly easily. Rest will probably be a very good idea, since - although you don't technically sleep - you do need to give your body a chance to recover from any ordeals and recharge itself.

And this has been a particularly trying time for you.

You stretch out on the ground and close your eyes to give the illusion of being asleep... and also to halt any questions from Sky about your personal comfort.

As your body begins recharging, you lose all awareness of what's going on around you.

The next thing you know, Sky is shaking you with a hand on your shoulder. Your eyes open, but she puts a finger to her lips and then gestures towards her ear.

After a moment or two, you can hear it as well. There's a rustling sound coming from a set of bushes. You slowly sit up and then look at Sky, who raises her eyebrows as if asking you what the two of you should do.
