Worlds Apart
You watch the podium as the woman steps forward, right to the front of the stage. All it would take is one extra step and she'd fall. The tutors stay back, which confuses you a little.
The woman takes her time looking round, but it seems that her gaze lingers on you longest. Finally, she speaks. She's not using any kind of voice amplifying technology, but her words still ring out clearly:
"Some of you may be aware of the fact that there is a disease affecting some of you. This is an illness that the doctors here have been working on finding a cure for. It now seems there might be a way of finding a cure. One of you needs to leave this world and search for a cure on another planet." She focuses on you once more. "I believe there is one of your number who can perform this task."
