Hall of Infinite Doors
As you go to enter the blackness that lies beyond the door you realize that there is no floor! You quickly plummet into the darkness that seems never ending.
As you fall your head starts to get a little fuzzy. You start to remember everything that has ever happened to you. You see images from every important point in your life. For a moment you are filled with happiness, recalling all the most exciting parts of your life. But something is wrong. After ever part of your life you see it falls from your memory and no matter how hard you try to recall it you realize the memory is gone forever. Your entire life is being ripped away from you and you realize that nothing you have done has ever really mattered. You are filled with greater despair than you have ever known. You then realize you are still falling. You wonder if there is an end to the darkness. You realize you are very sad about something, but you can't recall what. After trying for a time to remember, you see a white light beneath you. You are headed right toward it. Finally, an end to the darkness. But as you get closer you see that it's not an end to the darkness, but something floating in it. You see that it's a platform that seems to be made entirely of stained glass. There's a picture in the glass. A picture of someone very familiar. A picture of you.
As you approach the platform your descent slows until you finally come to a stop, landing feet first on the platform. But just as your weight settles on your feet you drop to your knees. You are completely out of energy. You fall flat on the ground. You cant even move any more. Slowly your eyes close until you again see nothing but darkness. You start to feel your consciousness start to slip away, but before you completely lose your grip on reality you hear footsteps approaching. You feel a foot pushed under your stomach. It pulls up as you feel yourself being rolled over. You hear the voice of a man who sounds as though he's been through more than his share of hardships "Vincent, come look at this one." You hear more footsteps followed by a deep voice that sounds just as weary as the first "Yes, this one will do." You barely manage to open your eyes in time to see the two figures, one with spiky blond hair and deep blue eyes and the other with long black hair and fiery red eyes. You then drift into deep dreamless sleep.
