The Curse of the Towne Motel

The bookshelf contains a set of dusty encyclopedias. "Boring," you think to yourself, noticing that the book M - P is missing from the set. "Wow, someone must have been REALLY bored, they stole an encyclopedia" you laugh to yourself. Casting your eyes down to the next shelf, you find a moldy old drinking glass with a dead flower in it, four Mills and Boon romance books and a small velvet box painted with a strange design in gold and silver. Opening the box you find a tiny key on a broken piece of string and a piece of yellowed paper with "Q 2 S" written on it.
