Beautiful Melody
The little sleep I was able to get wasn't doing me any good. My eyes felt dried out and my mood wasn't the greatest. Yet my curiosity triumphed over everything else and I examined the new house as best I could from the car. The style was perfect for us and reminded me of our old house, only bigger. "Big enough?" I questioned. "The basement is perfect for a recording studio and I had to be sure there were plenty of extra bedrooms for the band mates," dad answered "Not to mention your mum fell in love with it when she saw the pictures." "Just wait till you see inside Blaze" my mom assured me. "Good idea, lets take a peek before unloading the van."
As I climbed out of the car I adjusted the collar on my jacket. Having lived in England my entire life, I was expecting it to be cold in the rain, however I was pleasantly surprised yet again to find the weather rather warm. Before turning around to get a better look at our house, I scanned the neighborhood. It appeared to be a typical suburb with nothing special that I could see.
I slowly strolled behind my parents, but was stopped by mom before entering. "There will be no smoking until I get air fresheners in each room." she warned. "Oh the wonder of Febreze." I joked.
