A Soldier's Life
The whole base was in mourning. The greatest leader in all of the military had just died. He was not given a 21 gun salute, as he said in his will he wishes to be given the same burial as was given to a Private in the military. He was a man of great honor, he managed every military operation he was in with the utmost confidence and strategy. He had a rough life and he always kept a journal on him. He always did like to document his life. And now as his will states, the entire collection of the General's journals were to be sent to his son, Major of the 6th Galactic Battalion. His son was never distant from having a career similar to his father's and he respected him as both a commanding officer and a father. He wanted to know his father's past so whenever he had some time to spare he began to read his father's journal entries. He started with when his father was in Basic Training on the moon of Saturn, Titan.
