Worlds Apart
You realise that all you want right now is to go to the safest place you know... and where's safer than your room? At least it'll give you a few minutes to come to terms with whatever bad thing is going to be announced this time - whether it's that one of the others is suffering from the wasting disease, or something else.
As you turn to walk away from the Great Hall, the Guardian reaches out to touch your arm. When you look at him, he gives a firm shake of his head.
You just look at him and he finally removes his hand. You then start back to your quarters, half-expecting the door to be locked because all of you are supposed to be at the meeting. It's not, though, and you step through the door as it slides open.
Once inside, you sit down on the bed, a little taken aback that the Guardian enters the room with you. Perhaps he's not sure what to do... neither are you, in fact. All you can do is wait.
