The Diamond Cavern
Throwing away any scraps on courage you had, you leap into a small bush, only to collide with a small round lump. "Ow!" Says the dwarf. Your eyes widen with shock, but you realize this dwarf is different from the other one you'd previously seen.
"B-but what?" you stutter.
"Shhhh!!" Whispers the dwarf. You obey with hesitation, as a huge shadow appears on the path in front of you. 5 seconds later, a huge form lumbers past you. You gasp with horror. It's a troll.
You stay as quiet as possible as the troll gets further and further away. You've heard that they have terrible hearing, but you're not willing to test that. After you're sure the troll has passed, you and the dwarf carefully step out of the bushes. "Follow me" grunts the dwarf. Treading carefully, you and the dwarf head down a thin path and about 5 minutes later appear out in the open.
"Thank you!" You say to the dwarf.
"Was nothing" He grunts back. "The names Brasen" He says, holding out his hand. You tell him yours and shake it. "So tell me, young one, what are you doing so far from home?". You tell the dwarf of your search for adventure. "Adventure!" He laughs. "Well you've come to the right place! The town down the road has been waiting for someone like you." Your eyes widen.
"There's a town!"
"Yes" says the dwarf "Of course there's a town. Just follow this road for about half an hour and you'll be there. Oh, and here's some money. You'll probably need it". You accept the dwarf's 20 silver coins and start off down the road.
