My New Bike
"Do you have cookies?" you ask. "Because I like cookies."
"Oh I've got a cookie alright," she says.
"Good," you say; "I'm awful hungry."
"You can eat it all night too."
"Must be some cookie," yu tell her.
She leads you down the alley to a set of stairs that takes you to an apartment above the bar. She opens the door and ushers you in. It smells bad inside.
"How much money do you have?" She asks.
When you turn around you find that she has removed her top and her boobs are flopping down past her belly. You look away.
"I don't have any money," you tell her.
"Well this ain't a free show, kid," she tells you. "Maybe you have something else, something you can trade."
Trade? What do you have to trade. All you really had was a bike and now that's gone. But you're getting tired and you don't want to go back outside, especially with those mean older kids out there.
Maybe you can go back to your house tomorrow and find something to trade. Or maybe you should just leave, it really does stink in here.
