"What's up?" I asked leaning against the doorway. At first neither of them spoke, however my growing inpatients must have been obvious on my face because Cassie nudged Nancy.
"We were wondering if you would take us to the park." Nancy asked in a quiet voice. "Incase you haven't noticed, its pouring outside." "We don't have to go to the park, we could go to the mall or something" Cassie chimed in with a bit more force then Nancy. "Do you really want to walk in the pouring rain just to go to the mall where we have no money to spend?" of course I knew the real reason they were at my door, they were dying to get out of the house, and so did I.
