And so she was stuck

Kimbot opened her eyes, opperation, get up. With a quick movement she sat up and got off the bed, her eyes empty of all emotion. She looked around the room, it was no longer her room, machines can't own property, they are property. For a minute she thought about what that meant when a new objective came to mind. Retrieve package.

She made her way to the front door with clipped careful movement, no motion or effort wasted on her trip. She opened the door without a care in the world as she looked down on a small brown package at the door step. She bent down, picked it up, and was back into the house. She ran her nails along the tape to open it. Inside were two bottles, one labeled body wash, the other shampoo. Next to them was a small case labeled contacts.

She looked on them and immediately knew what she had to do. She grabbed the box and went into the bathroom in her perfectly calibrated movements. Once the shower was on she stripped down and looked at herself in the fogging mirror. Her thoughts were simple, appearance organic, must remedy. She grabbed the body wash and stepped into the spray of water.

The body was came out in a grey color that she immediately set to work slathering across her skin. She didn't hesistated at all, even as the grew foam was washed away it left her skin shiny. sleek and metallic, as if her skin had been turned to chrome. Of course it was still human skin, but the shine off her skin made it so easy to confuse her for being metal.

Soon she squirted the last of the bodywash onto her skin and had worked the coloration into every inch of her skin. From the tip of her head, to the soles of her feet, she had worked it into every joint and ever crevice. She got out of the shower and carefully disposed of the bottle in a trash can and then went to look upon her form to judge it.

Organic skin appearance corrected. She smiled, a very unrobotic action, but she couldn't help it. She was so happy looking at her shiny shiny skin, how she looked completely inhuman... except for her hair she thought. Correcting hair appearance! The thought echoed through her as in a flurry of perfectly effiecent movement she grabbed the bottle of shampoo and squirted it into her hair.

The blue shampoo coated her hair and she started tow ork it in, making sure it had seeped into every strand. She ran her hair under the water and blue suds washed across her perfectly shiny form. She turned to the mirror to check her progress. If Kim had still been Kim she would have been shocked. Her hair was now a neon blue, but as if that wasn't enough it was transparent, as if each strand was made of transparent plastic or rubber and had been tinted neon blue. But Kimbot smiled again as she approached true robotic appearance. All that betrayed her now was her eyes.

And with that thought she stepped out of the shower and opened the contact lens case. Inside were two neon blue contacts, both large enough to completely cover her eyes. Kimbot knew they were designed to never come off, to become part of her forever. Kim wouldn't have ever put them on, but Kimbot more than happily slide them on and examined herself. Her eyes were now reflective neon blue mirror, no hint of whites, cornea, or iris. Just solid reflective blue. The world had a slightly bluish tint, but nothing distracting.

"Kimbot, appearance modifications complete." The shiny woman said to no one. "Checking for further orders."
