Universe

You ask Galakos to take you to your room. After a twelve hour cruise through space, you are more than ready to stretch out some and relax a little. Not that space travel isn't normally relaxing for you but you spent nearly the whole trip preparing and studying up on different articles on Oru. This being your first assignment as a Ranger, you are still feeling apprehensive to say the least.

Galakos leads you down a majestic purple and blue hallway, with large windows lined down the hall to give your eyes always something to look out and wonder about. As you peer into the ocean depths, you see different Orun subs speeding around through the water, some even appear to be racing each other. You turn your attention back to the hallway and sight a group of a few attractive Orun girls, one of which gives you a suggestive wink. You feel yourself blushing a bit but brush it off for now. Perhaps there will be time for that sort of matter later.

Galakos leads you down a few more hallways, ones that seem to be getting progressively thinner and thinner until you are walking down a row of apartment doors, rooms that seem surprisingly closely-built. Galakos stops in front of one, Room R31A.

He pulls a card from his pocket and the door immediately scans it with a small green light. Then a small purple pad slides out from the middle of the door and he presses his finger to it, tracing a shape of a circle with a vertical line through it. The door then slides open and you now realize why the doors seem to have been built so close together.

Instead of a room in front of you, there lies yet another hallway. This one is not very long but it startles you at first because it is completely transparent. So you and Galakos begin walking down the glass (or whatever material this is) hall, although to anyone else it would appear you were walking through the ocean depths.

You then come to your room at the end of the hall and to your comfort, you find that this room, while having a large window of its own, has solid walls and floor. It actually looks quite spacious and comfortable once you get a good look around, with a nice sized-bed, kitchen area, Net area, and bathroom. As you walk around the room, admiring the features, Galakos steps to the entrance of the room and holds out his hands in a sign of farewell.

"I trust you will enjoy the accomodations we have provided. As you may have noticed, we have not placed you in a room of high luxury despite your status since we felt you would not want attention drawn to yourself. The city is yours to explore and investigate. As a spokesman for the Orun Council however, I do ask that you respect and honor the traditions and laws of our planet."

You nod to him and say "Thank you Galakos. I will respect your planet."

He nods, smiles, then disappears down the transparent hallway. You are left alone in your room, now finding yourself once again having to make a choice.
