Hall of Infinite Doors

Excited now at the opportunity to foil up their plans, you keep watching the video, wondering if the girls will open the package. Standing up for a second, you walk over to your dorm window and look out, watching the two suited men departing across the campus grounds.

Making your way back to your computer, you turn up the audio a little bit so as not to miss anything, and you continue watching.

"I hope he's right. This payment better be exactly what we're expecting." Says Stacey, promptly opening a desk drawer and placing the package in.

"Shouldn't we check the package? You know, make sure they got it right?" Asks Tricia with an anxious look.

Leaning toward the monitor, you watch expectantly, waiting for an answer.

"What makes you think they got it wrong this time? They never have before." Says Stacey.

"Oh, I don't know. It's just a ..."

Bill walks in suddenly, and you shut off the monitor as fast as you can, but the monitor doesn't control the speakers, and the audio keeps going.

Before you have enough time to turn it off, Bill has heard some of what's going on, and he asks, "Is that Stacey? How are you hearing this stuff?"

"Ah, man. No one's supposed to know but me." You say. "You remember that construction project that I worked on this summer?"

Bill gives you a look that says, "Duh." then explains, "How could I not? You were obsessed with it. You barely did anything else."

"Yeah, well, I sabotaged it." I explained. "I was watching the cameras to get an idea of their positions and the track of the wiring, and I found her office. Her and her slave, Tricia, were discussing how easy it would be to rip me off, so I changed out all the cameras and updated the equipment so I could watch it from here or a portable T.V. I've been watching their meetings all night." I said. "Want to join me?"

You study Bill for a moment, waiting for a response. Slowly, Bill breaks out into a big Chesire Cat grin and says "Fire that baby up man. This should be good."

You switch the monitor back on, and to your dismay, Stacy has just finished putting the unknown object back into the package and placing the package into the desk.

"I told you they always get it right." Says Stacy, giving Tricia a reproachful look. "Lets get to bed though. It was a long day."

"O.K. Sounds good to me." replies Tricia. The two girls leave the office, switching off the light, leaving the monitor almost pitch black.
