Inside the Garden

You scramble the rest of the way through the window with the help of a wolf who pulls on your arm with its mouth. You drag yourself to your feet and begin running. The wolf that helped you keeps pace as the others fade away into the trees.

You glance back once and see a pale face snarled with fury glaring through the window.

You run with the wolf deep into the woods before you drop to the ground in exhaustion. The pain in your wrists and ankles is throbbing so you bind them with strips that you tear from your shirt.

Feeling better you look up. The wolf is staring at you and begins to edge closer.
