Inside the Garden

As you head into the darkness of the woods you think about the first time you saw Lisa.

You'd been sitting in a cafe plowing through some terrible novel when she'd sat down across from you. She hadn't asked permission but then Lisa never did.

Her amber eyes had seemed to glow with amusement and a strange ferocity. You almost fell in love with her right then just for that look.

A branch snags in your jacket, bringing you back to reality with a start. The deeper you go into the wood, the darker it gets. By now you're having trouble seeing more that a few feet infront of you.

You stop to get your bearings and notice that there is a dim glow coming through the trees on your right. In front of you the path stretches into blackness.
