Project Theta 27

You start heading outside, and as you go out the door, you feel rumbling. Looking to your left, down the street and through the woods, over the mountains, you see a roaring ball of fire coming down from the sky. It illuminates everything, sending long shadows down the street. It disappears momentarily behind a mountain, and suddenly a gigantic explosion appears where the meteor hit. A shock wave slams you, and several windows around you shatter into pieces. A big crack on the brick street makes it's way to you. You stumble backwards, stunned from the shock wave, and as you recover you gaze in awe at the humongous mushroom/fireball illuminating the forest and mountains in front of you.

A second later, you feel a sharp sting of pain on your right shoulder, and look down to see a small, glowing rock about the size of a fingernail sitting in a little base-ball sized crater beside you. The fragment of the meteor had grazed your shoulder, but just left a cut, not very deep.

You look up again just in time to see another fragment of the meteor slam into a brick building to your left. More start to fall, but most land a few meters from where you're standing. Suddenly a fragment about the size of a head hits a car a block down, and the car explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere. You duck and cover you head and face, and are relieved to find out nothing happened to you.

Looking around, you more and more fragments are falling, and each time are falling closer and closer. Another explosion goes off, and small pieces of dirt hit you. A fragment about the size of a television just hit a bakery.

You decide what to do, don't you? Hopefully you don't just stand there like an idiot.
