The Wild
Now that FlamePaw is an apprentice RedPaw will show him to the apprentice's den. (Where the apprentice's sleep.) FlamePaw was too excited to fall asleep because of his first training session. FlamePaw finally fell asleep at MoonHigh. The next day FlamePaw woke up easily, but had a struggle getting RedPaw up. FlameStripe (Apprentice Mentor) came up to the apprentice's den and called out to RedPaw, "RedPaw, Get up it's SunHigh time for your training". RedPaw got up and stretched out, while FlamePaw just flew out, FlameStrike called out "And who might you be?". FlamePaw replied, "I'm the new apprentice that RedPaw brought back." FlameStrike remembered, "Ahh, yes you must be FlamePaw, am I right?". FlamePaw replied "Yes, sir, are you our mentor?". FlameStrike called out "Yes, I will be your mentor along with RedPaw." FlamePaw respectfully nodded his head. RedPaw came out and said, "FlamePaw, I hope your up to our training, I see you have met our mentor, FlameStrike". FlamePaw nodded. FlameStrike called out, "Today, we will be teaching how to hunt correctly, First you crouch down like this. Now you put all your weight off your feet, and find prey, in this case our prey will be a mouse since this is the way to hunt for a mouse." FlameStrike successfully got fresh-kill. He started speaking again, "You two will be practicing that for half an hour. Then you will go out and find fresh-kill for the clan tonight".
FlameStrike spoke, "FlamePaw, you are doing well for a loner. RedPaw, good job." He spoke again, "You two are ready, you will now go out and get fresh-kill. RedPaw, Show FlamePaw our clan boundaries will you?" RedPaw replied, "Yes, I would love to show him our boundaries." he then nodded respectfully.
A few hours later...
RedPaw said, "It's getting close to sunlow, we should get going." FlamePaw replied, "Yeah, I guess your right. They gathered all of the prey and headed back to the camp. They walked up to FlameStar and dropped all of the prey. Flamestar yelled out, "FlameStrike get over here this instant!" the whole clan watched. "FlameStrike came over, "Yes, FlameStar?". FlameStar replied, "Congratulations FlameStrike, you have taught your apprentices well and look at all of this fresh-kill they brought back! I've never seen anyone bring this much prey!". FlameStar spoke again, "You two are ready to become warriors after you learn how to fight and defend yourselves, then you will take a test to see if you are ready to be warriors!".
