Soaking wet and her bare hands and feet slimy from whatever was in the water, Marine set about her task to repair the bridge.
"HEY! Who are you?" a voice asked, surprising Marine.
The raccoon spun around to see a small monkey coming towards her, looking curious.
"Askin' a Shelia her name without introducing yourself isn't too polite, mate." Marine warned, folding her arms and looking annoyed.
"Sorry. Name's Wocky. I used to live on Westside Island, but Sonic brought me and my friends here because it wasn't safe."
"You know Sonic? So do I! Name's Marine. I'm not from around here."
"Out of town?"
"You could say that." Marine replied, rubbing the back of her head and glancing off.
"I see you're trying to fix the bridge here. Need help?"
"Sure, mate. Sonic can't swim. I think he's fakin."
"He is. He just doesn't like water because he can't run. Tocky the turtle and Rocky the walrus have tried to teach him, but he refuses."
"Stubborn I see."
"He's saved the day more times than I can count. He has a right to be."

Wocky, as well as the other animal friends, act as something called a MAG.
MAGs are characters that boost stats and attack in tandem with the character they're assigned to. They also have a special ability.
MAGs are not playable, only provide assistance when available.

Subtract 1 from Strength
Coconut Toss: Taking a cue from the robots that try to emulate him, Wocky tosses a coconut alongside every successful POW Attack performed. Adds +3 to damage total to enemy.
