Sonic World Adventure Rush!

Miles away, in Washington D.C, Rouge toiled as usual within G.U.N. headquarters. After answering some calls about strange sightings of an albino hedgehog, she thought nothing of it. But searching for any information on this individual lead to something even more interesting.

Rouge heaved the file folder, stuffed to it's maximum with documents and smelling of old ink and paper, back under her arm and continued her walk back to Topaz's office.

If anyone could help her, it's Topaz.

At first, the brunette female human was reluctant to work with someone of Rouge's flirtatious and thieving nature. But after a while, they became girlfriends. Hanging out at the malls, chatting about how much of a dick their boss, Captain Westwood, was.

They even had a few immature giggles when they joked about where he always disappeared off too.

Topaz was busy answering another call from the GUN Commander. Despite his hard case demeanor, those that knew Commander personally were treated to a firm but not entirely heartless personality. He wasn't as cold or sexist as Westwood, at least.

Topaz snapped her attention to the overstuffed folder landing on her desk, and Rouge took her usual seat at the edge of it. "Found something interesting."

"I see that. But what does it have to do with us?" Topaz asked, opening it.

"Some research I did links our Nazo character to a place called Cyber City. When I looked into that, I found this file."

"So it will help us?" she then noticed that the majority of the documents were blacked out, leaving only the "and", "or" and punctuation marks present.

Rouge pulled the paper down and looked Topaz in the eye. "I think someone knows more than what they're telling us."

"No way! Commander would never lie to us! Especially if it put us in danger." Topaz was quick to state that fact.

"Not him," Rouge glanced at the door, just as Westwood walked by. He stopped and returned the stare, the harsh lights reflecting off his perpetual mirrored sunglasses. He then shook his head and walked off. "Him."

Before Topaz could reply, a faint, muffled melody began to play. Rouge realized it was her cell phone, but didn't feel like answering it.

"Shouldn't you get that?" Topaz asked, glancing at the bat.

"Why should I? Probably Knuckles trying to ask me out." Rouge joked.

"He doesn't have a phone." Topaz replied, a smirk on her face.

"He could borrow someone's!" Rouge argued. They began to laugh.

The ringing continued...
