Calvin sighed.
"Shit... I guess I'll get another hour of sleep or so, too. There's no reason to run out there if I'm not at the top of my game."
"A fine choice!" said Mike with great mock enthusiasm. "The man finally decides to do something other than sit on a rock!"
"You never know if anything's a good choice until all the battles have been fought and all the wars are over... but I think it probably is, too."
Calvin stood up and inhaled the smoke from his pipe one last time.
"Probably."
Calvin sighed.
