Hall of Infinite Doors

You hate the concept of ignesting virtually toxic chemicals in order to give a massive evil corporation more money so they can continue to exploit impoverished nations. You leave the Burger King. Outside there is a 4 lane highway with a bridge leading across it to a McDonald's. There are sidewalks running down both sides of the highway, and many other buildings in the distance. You try to head down the sidewalk but notice an invisible barrier blocking the way. You discover this in both directions, and then when you cross the street, the same problem. It seems you are trapped within the vicinity of two disgusting fast food places. What will you do?
