Tails takes the piece and examines it carefully. After a few minuets of turning it over in his paws, he gasps in realization.
"This is part of a GUN Battleship!" he turned it around to show Sonic and Marine the small GUN insignia stamped into the steel. "Apparently, it was towing a supply of Mega Mack, as evidenced by the purple water."
"Strewth! What does that mean?" Marine asked.
"It means we're dealing with some serious dudes if they can knock over a GUN ship." Sonic replied.
"I think it was that Capt'n Whisker fella...how he came back, I don't know." Marine observed, holding her chin in thought.
