Sonic World Adventure Rush!
Finally giving in to his itching to run, Sonic stood and stretched, warming up.
He didn't bother to grab his shoes as he figured nothing bad would happen, (subtract 5 from Sonic's speed), and took off into the grassy inlands of South Island.
"Hey Sonic!" a familiar voice called out, and Sonic skidded to a halt. Hopping up to him was his good friend and South Island citizen Johnny Lightfoot.
"What's up Johnny?"
"Nothing much." he noticed Sonic's bare feet. "Hanging out at the beach, huh?"
"Yeah, Tails wanted to try a new invention of his and you know me and swimming..."
"Well, if you want to get into some trouble," Johnny said, placing a paw to his chin in thought, "you could check out the Badniks wandering around these parts."
"Badniks?!" Sonic asked, quirking a brow in confusion. "I thought those were outmoded when Eggman took charge?"
"Well, they came rolling in here like they owned the place, and Moto Bug was ranting about how they were going to impress this brotherhood or something..."
"Say no more, I'll look into it." Sonic waved a hand.
Well, he will look into it, but he needed to take care of other matters. Should he run back and grab his shoes (and Tails for extra help), or should he grab a bite to eat to prepare him stamina wise?
