Death Note
"What do you mean by strange?" asked Kazuo. "He's acting as if he is trying to hide something" said Z. "He is. He's trying to hide the Death Note, according to how I wrote it into the Death Note. 22 days ago, this should start to get very interesting" thought Kazuo. "I see, I'll keep an eye on him and report back" said Kazuo. "Good, I want you to hide these cameras and microphones around his room to watch him" said Z. "Alright, but doesn't this building already have cameras?" asked Kazuo, taking the cameras and microphones from Z. "Yes, but Near knows where they are" said Z. "I see" said Kazuo leaving the room.
"Kazuo, what do you think is wrong with Near?" asked Ryuk. "You should be able to figure that out Ryuk" said Kazuo. "Keh keh keh! I'll just have to wait to see then, but waiting is boring. This better not take too long" said Ryuk. "It won't Ryuk" said Kazuo, as he entered Near's room.
"No one is here" said Ryuk. "Good" said Kazuo, placing the cameras around the room, turning them on. Kazuo's phone rang. "Kazuo I can see Near's room, now start placing the microphones around" said Z. "Good, it's going just as I planed, now to open the desk" thought Kazuo, as he opened it. Inside it was the Death Note Kazuo he gotten Gizou to give to the third Kira. "Keh keh keh keh keh! Now I see" said Ryuk. "What's that?" asked Z. "I think it's a Death Note" said Kazuo, picking up the book. "Bring it here then" said Z. "WHAT?!?" said Kazuo. "What is it?" asked Z. "It's the Death Note's Shinigami" said Kazuo. "Who? Me?" asked Ryuk, pointing at himself. "Bring the Death Note here Kazuo, so I can talk to it, besides if it wasn't friendly you would already be dead" said Z. "Ok, I'll bring the Death Note now" said Kazuo, leaving the room.
"Keh keh keh keh keh! So Near becomes the enemy of Z? Interesting" said Ryuk, as they walked towards the investigation room. "Now according to how I wrote it down in the Death Note,Near will go to the orphanage, with a page and he'll continue killing them the way I wrote it down, however the way I wrote it goes around the rule that would just make it a heart attack" thought Kazuo.
Kazuo entered the investigation room. "Here's the Death Note" he said handing it to Z. "I see, there was a shinigami" said Z, looking at Ryuk. "Is Near the owner of this Death Note, shinigami?" said Kazuo. "Huh? Yes, Near does own that Death Note, which I haunt" said Ryuk. "I see" said Z, looking through the pages. "There's no doubt, Near is Kira" said Z, pointing at the page with the entire investigation team's names on it. Kazuo looked at the page. "We're lucky he hasn't written our names yet" said Kazuo. "Heh, this is going as I planned, I got Near to write the name of everyone Kira has killed, and now he'll write all the names of the orphans on that blank sheet of paper I got Gizou to give him; what he doesn't know is that those pages are from that Death Note Z has now, and all those names in that Death Note means it worked" thought Kazuo.
"We have to go after Near, I'll check the names later, but it looks as if all or nearly all of them are here just by glancing at it" said Z. "What about the suicide notes?" asked Kazuo. "Ai, isn't back yet, and it looks like she might not come back after seeing this, I'll ask the police to deliver it here" said Z, pressing a button on the computer and starting to talk into the microphone. "Keh keh keh keh keh! I guess you found Kira then" said Ryuk, as Z continued to talk to the police. "It looks like we might have" said Kazuo. Ryuta was smiling. "Why does he smile like that? He's planing something, that much I can tell" thought Kazuo. Z finished talking to the police. "Alright, they're on their way with the note" said Z. "Good" said Kazuo.
"Got any ideas about what we should do now Kazuo?" asked Z.
