Hall of Infinite Doors
You decide to wait and find out not only who it was but also why they denied you your juicy delicious fruit.
A six foot humanoid reptile wanders up to you.
"Thank Kroak-Cha you didn't eat that Grazinooka, you could have been killed" The creature says in a strained, hiss-like voice.
If a lizard could speak, you guess that this is the voice it would have.
Seeing that the creature means you no harm you calm down. Sure it's a bit strange, but what hasn't been so far. You hold out your hand and tell the creature your name and why you are here. The creature seams confused for some reason. After thinking for a while it speaks again.
"I am Hisskarr, daughter of Kra Ha-Char The Hunter. Please come to my village. We may be able to help you."
She runs off towards the village.
You decide to follow her and so, by night fall you reach the village.
"Verity village is a nice place. You'll like it here I'm sure..." Hisskarr stops for a moment. "
You can stay at my home for tonight, My father is not at home, he is hunting wild Kurgles at the moment and when he does he is away for many days."
And so you spent the night with Hisskarr. And the next morning she took you to see the mayor.
the mayor was a funny old man, he was very rotund and strangely cheerful. He had the appearance of a humanoid panda.
He looked you up and down... "Greetings New Friend" He said in a deep booming jolly kind of voice. "I am Mayor Ling-Bo, and this is my village" He added with a sweep of his arm.
You explain to him the events of yesterday and he nods. "The Grazinooka looks nice, but ever since they have been cursed by Mekton the Warlock, they are not nice at all, they are niceless in fact."
He seamed to get a bit angry when mentioning The warlock it seems...
"Now as for your being here" He added "You are not the first of your kind to come. But every time one of your people arrives Mekton murderises and killerates them!"
Ling-Bo also seems to like to make up words you guess.
Just as you are talking an alarm sounds. "Curses and Botheration!" Ling-Bo cries "Mekton arrives!"
The two of you rush from the town hall and to the square. A crowd is already gathering.
Hisskarr grabs you by the shoulder. "I will hide you!" She says as she drags you off towards an abandoned hut. "You stay, and keep quiet" She explains as she runs back to the square.
It seems you have a choice, you can hide here, run or return to the square and face this Mekton character.
