The Three Destiny Choices
You slip away into a deep sleep a deeper sleep than sleep itself. You felt very calm now as if all your problems have just melted away and all that was left was happiness.
You lay there in an infinite pool of darkness thinking that this is the end. "The afterlife isn't so bad" you thought. You closed your eyes and just listened to the silence just beyond your ears. It was so quiet and peaceful you wished it to never end.
Like all things peaceful it must end and it did just that. You creaked your eyes open but you didn't get far, the light coming into them was overbearing and forced them shut. You shook your head as they closed and a melodic voice danced into your ears.
"Lie still or you'll open your wounds again"
This voice was so peaceful you couldn't disagree with it.
"You know your lucky you almost drowned to death, if that other crusader hadn't seen you fall in"
