Hall of Infinite Doors
You grab on to the pole with both hands and blindly start climbing up it. You think to yourself how hard it's going to be-but surprisingly, it's extremely easy, almost as if helping hands are ushering you up. You soon climb up through a hole in the ceiling to- surprise, surprise-more darkness! You walk forward for a while once more, being extra careful with your feeling....
After a few minutes your hope of finding something new in this place starts to wither-but then, shockingly, you see light! Light up ahead, as if you are heading towards the end of a tunnel. You run up ahead, then discover the source of the light-fire.
You stand there for a while, staring down at the small fire. Then suddenly a booming voice makes you jump out of your skin.
"How long are you going to look at my fire???" you stare up at a giant figure who lights up with every breath he takes. While the figure is jet black, you can identify it through its horrible sharp teeth and its many scales, not to mention its vast wings. It's a dragon!
"Well done for making it this far. Through the blind eye, you took a helping hand as I did so many centuries ago. But now, I am just about ready for this boring life to end. So long have I lived that I had my own castle built, and in no more fitting a place than a hall which represents my own lifespan-infinity"
"Wait, what do you know about this hall? Did you create it!?" you ask.
"Oh my God, certainly not. To be sure, I don't even know myself who created it. I have spent many a year traveling through the vast hall, but as excepted it is infinite, and whilst there are a few strange people about, all deny creation of this hallway, and truth be told, I think they're just people that have gone mad within the walls of the hall."
"So, what do you want from me?" you gulp.
"Ah, but I have told you I grow tired of this weary existence. I want my life to end-and you shall be the one to cause that to be imminent. Take this sword" he beckons, nodding his head towards a silver sword beside the fire you hadn't yet noticed "True, I could end my own life-but I want it to end in a memorable way. In battle... in a battle like the one I enjoyed so many centuries ago, the only time a warrior could injure me!"
"What makes you think I can beat YOU?" you ask.
For the first time, the dragon grows angry.
"ENOUGH!! ON GUARD!!" and suddenly, for the first time, the whole place enlightens from a ring of fire leaving a large space for you and the dragon to fight. White marble floor is beneath you.
