Thief

He ran up the stairs, and exited the basement. As he ran through the doorway, the wind following him blew out the torch and you stood there in total darkness.
You waited for your eyes to adjust. When they did, you found another exit that wasn't the doorway. It was a small hole in the wall beside you.
