You sign up, and then wait around. About 15 minutes later, someone asks why you didn't leave with the other new recruits. Startled, you jump outside and rush the direction they were going. You come into a fork in the road. You know that the two roads rejoin at one point. The left road is short, but dangerous, and the right is long, but safe.
