The Lost Diary

Your mother removes three gold coins from her purse and hands them to you. "Just in case you need these," she explains. "Don't spend them frivolously." You place the money in your pants pocket for safe keeping. Record the 3 gold coins under your List of Equipment on your Parchment.

You bid farewell to your mother, kiss her on the cheek and walk out through the front doorway into the street.

The market is about a ten minute journey from your home and you set off at a brisk pace. It is quite sunny today; many people are outside, also travelling to and from the marketplace. Some are making their way by foot, a few are transporting themselves via horseback and others are using a horse-and-cart. There are a number of children playing a game by the side of the road as well.
