Heroes in a Half Shell

You came here for a reason and you need to stay focused on that goal. Besides, the dogs will probably feed on his corpse and thus hide the evidence. No body no murder, right? You hope so. What are you thinking? Who is going to believe that the killer is a mutant turtle teenager who happens to be a trained ninja? You guys should be completely safe.

You rush to catch up with Raphael, who seems to be charging through the maze of towering vehicle stacks as though he knows where he is going. And clearly, he doesn't; you soon find one of the Nutrinos cars at the top of one of the stacks with Raphael nowhere in sight.

"Raph!" You call out. "Hey Raphael! Where are you?!"

But there is no answer. Letting out a deep sigh, you start to climb the tower of cars, slowly moving closer to the Nutrino vehicle at the top. When at last you reach your destination, you pop the hood and start disconnecting the hose and wire from the generator. You pull out your wrenches and make quick work of the bolts.

"OK Raphael!" You call. "I need you now!"

But again, there is no response. You can't climb down by yourself with the dylithium generator; that's the whole reason you didn't want to come alone. And now the comrade you elected to take with you has off and disappeared.

You make your way down as quickly as you can manage and start walking the grounds, searching through the maze of scrap heaps. You continuously call out to him as you move, but after nearly half an hour you have still not located him.

So how are you supposed to get the generator?

Shit, you'll have to go back to the lair and wait for him to return. Hopefully he'll return soon and you won't have to wait until the police discover the mutilated corpse and hang around gathering evidence.

With another quick look around, you decide to head back. You make your way slowly to the manhole, constantly glancing around as you go; searching for signs of Raphael but finding none.

You remove the manhole cover and climb slowly into the dark sewers that your dojo calls home.

It is well after midnight before Raphael returns to the lair, trying unsuccessfully to slip silently into his bunk. You peak over the edge, looking down on him from above.

"Where the hell did you go?" You ask.

"I went out," he replies.

"Well I couldn't get that generator without you, so it's still back there waiting to be carried down."

"Cool," he says. "We'll get it tomorrow then."

"I don't think it will be that easy Raphael," you say. "Remember the yardmaster? I figure it'll be a long while before everything cools down and we can enter the yard again."

"Yeah, maybe;" he says. "Listen, about what happenedÂ…"

"Don't worry," you tell him. "I won't say anything, but you should really try and control yourself."

"I know," he says. "And don't worry about the pot thing, I'll keep it quiet."

You're about to clarify the whole "pot thing" when you think better of it. The two of you whisper goodnight and it isn't long before you find yourself dreaming.

You have 1 choice:
