Hall of Infinite Doors

You find a small sandwich shop. She orders a smoothie and doesn't let you pay. You get a turkey sandwich. As she sits down you are overpowered as she crosses her legs.

You sit across from her--carefully. You notice various guys checking out your date, but none approach. It feels good.

"There's something I want to ask you," you say.

"Really? I wanted to ask a favor of you, too."

"Oh, then. You go first."

She laughes nervously as she sips her smoothie. "No, you. You mentioned it."

You laugh. "Well, what I wanted to ask was whether you'd go on another date with me. Like a real date."

"With me?" she asks in a high voice?

Time stops. The world grows silent.

"Don't you have a girlfriend or something," she asks.

"Not right now," you admit.

"I'm stunned," she continues. "But I must tell you, I can't go out with you. I'm in love with someone else, and I will never love you."

"That's wonderful," you tell her as your heart disolves into small pieces. "Who is he?"

"I can't tell you," she says leaning forward and nearly whispering. Her cleavage is amaaazing. "Even he doesn't know."

Then she returns upright and speaks in a normal voice. "I just worry that he'll take me for some little girl, and that he won't love me." She sips her smoothie gently.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" you ask hopefully.

"Maybe. Can you show me how to be better in bed? I've not dated anyone before, and I want him to like me."

"You want me to show you how to be a better lover?" you repeat.

"I'd pay you," she implores. "Please??"

"I can't take your money," you say of conscience. "Do you want me to show you how to date too?"

"Oh, anything," she says, again in hushed tones. "I'm so bad at this. I don't care if you have a girlfriend or what. I just want a little help here and there. And at the same time, if you want some, you can come to me. If I need some, maybe I can find you. I just need to be ready!"

"Ok," you say, as if you've done this before. "But only if I can quit when I want to."

"Well, sure!"

"Great. Tell you what. I'll take you someplace nice Saturday night. Be ready at seven. Wear something nice."

She readily accepts.
