Assault of the Sorcerer Kings
Ront Ironarm unslung his axe from his back and held it before him. "I say we send these hell-beasts back to where they came from."
"Five of them, six of us," Glavian reasoned.
Makis shook his head and dismounted, drawing his staff as he did. "Let's do this, then."
Swan held her razor sharp round sheild before her at the ready, not liking the group decision, but accepting it none the less.
"You stay back and be careful, Jamis." Glavian told the boy. "If one of them comes near you, go for it's body, it's the easiest part to hit. If you get lucky, you can cleave it in hald."
Jamis nodded nervously and got down from his horse, his axe sitting in his shakey hand.
The vampires decended on them like hawks to prey, landing at their feet and swiping with their talon-like claws.
