Sanity Killer
They turn to you.
"Who are you?" One asks.
"He's obviously the next act."
"But the show is over!"
"You're right, thank god. Just when you think the show is terrible, something wonderful happens."
"What?"
"It ends!" They both laugh again. They don't seem to be hearing you. Although you're starting to like these guys. You end up following them to different performances just to hear them say jokes. You eventually get as old as they are and begin to talk like they do. But, unlike them, you die when they live on. They're muppets. You're... yeah. But hey, you had a good life right?
