Hall of Infinite Doors
You go to Jenny's room. Maybe get a little makeout session. You knock quietly on her door and she opens.
"Mitch! Check what I found." You enter and in the limited light a couple candles burning on the desk, she hands you an automatic pistol. You grip it tightly and look at it. It appears to be a 9mm.
"Where did you find it?" you ask. "Under the pillow," she says, refering to the twin bed up against the wall. "And get this--" She walks over to the desk and opens the jewelry box on top. Look at these things. You place the pistol on the desk and run your hand over the magnificent gems in the box. Some are quite large. They look very expensive, even in the dark.
Just then, the bathroom door opens. It's Ashley. "Oh, hey Mitch!" she says. "Check this out guys." She holds out a wad of cash--all in $100's. "It was in a secret panel I found." You take the cash and look at it closely. It's definitely real.
"They are really rich!" says Jenny.
"I know," offers Ashley, "why don't we play poker with these things? Five card stud."
"I don't know," you muse.
"We'll put it back," says Jenny. "Besides, we could do it so that if we run out of cash or diamonds, you could buy clothing to get us back in the game. C'mon. It'll be fun."
Ashley nods.
You're not sure. The reminder of the quest rings in the back of your head. You wonder if it would not be better to go downstairs and check things out.
