Hall of Infinite Doors
Taking a deep breath, you begin to walk toward the door. You close your eyes. A nagging voice in the back of your head reprimands you. You're about to walk face-first into a solid door!
Or are you? Well, enough thinking. You should find out right...about...
Ow. Opening your eyes, you notice the door seems unharmed, except for a patch of bricks right about where your head would've made contact.
You reach out with your hand, touching the door. The small patch that you touched disappears in a hiss of vapor, leaving behind solid brick. You begin rubbing your hands all over the door.
Well, you've did what you wanted to do. You've disolved the entire door. Now everyone who comes by here can see that it's just a blank wall. On the other hand, this smoke doesn't appear to be dispersing.
You take a deep breath, followed by a coughing fit. This smoke tastes like crap on your lungs! It's some sort of hellish combination of sulfur and skunk. And yet...you can't breathe anything else!
You try walking up and down the hallway, but the smoke clouds follow you. You take another breath, and more smoke enters your lungs. You fall to the ground coughing, but the smoke still won't go away.
Another breath, more smoke. It won't even disperse in your chest; you can feel it burning within your lungs! You fall to the ground, twitching, but nothing helps. Your chest is on fire from the pain, but still the smoke enters through your mouth.
Your only hope to get rid of the smoke is to inhale it all. You take another gasping breath, but by now it feels as though a burning inferno has erupted in your chest. Your eyes water from the horrible stench, but you manage to take another raspy breath.
The last few wisps of smoke trickle into your mouth. Success! Your eyes, trembling from weakness, begin to close shut. The last thing you remember is the pain in your chest blissfully snuffing itself.
