The Mold

You decide that you will need to grab onto something soon if you want any hope of escaping this quickly accelerating stream current. As you float you notice a tree whose branch extends particularly far across the water. You reach out and just barely grab onto the tip. Once you have a solid grip you are able to pull yourself to a shallower area of the stream where you are able to stand. From there you wade out of the stream and onto dry land. You sit down on a stump and take a moment to collect yourself and catch your breath. You are soaking wet from head to toe and dripping water off of every part of your body, but you are safe. The only way to go is forward.
