Morathi's Poison ** FULLY ILLUSTRATED :-D

You look at Morathi, you look down at the poisoned cake, and you look back to Morathi. In a flash, you have your dagger drawn and you lunge at Morathi. You stab air. Confused, you turn around and see Morathi standing behind you.

"Insolent fool! You will suffer greatly for you transgression!" Morathi screams in rage.

He raises his arms and his eyes burn like coals. You run out of the yurt.

The ground starts to tremble and the sky turns red. Before you, a great chasm yawns open in the Earth. Helplessly, you fall in.

You awake later and find yourself in a very cold, windy cavern. You see a sign, it reads:

"Welcome to Cocytus, the Ninth Circle of Hell! This is the deepest level of Hell, where the fallen angel Satan himself resides. His wings flap eternally, producing chilling cold winds that freeze the thick ice found in Cocytus. The three faces of Satan, black, red, and yellow, can be seen with mouths gushing bloody foam and eyes forever weeping, as they chew on the three traitors, Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. This place is furthest removed from the source of all light and warmth. Sinners here are frozen deep in the ice, faces out, eyes and mouths frozen shut. Traitors against God, country, family, benefactors, and Morathi lament their sins in this frigid pit of despair."*

You look around and sure enough, you see the Father of all Lies, the Fallen Angel, Evil Incarnate, Lucifer, Satan: The Devil Himself.

"So," the Dark Lord says, "what you in for?"

"Uh, I tried to kill some weird mystic guy."

"Yeah. Myself, I led a rebellion of angels against God. Long story short, I'm stuck here until Armageddon."

"Okay. Well, I should be going now...I uh, have to find a place to stay."

"Ha, good luck. The housing market in the city of Dis is pretty hot, but that's only because the place is eternally on fire. I suppose you could try to find a place in Limbo with the virtuous unbelievers and unbaptised, but those guys are such snobs. Besides, the commute across the Styx is getting pretty expensive, Charon keeps jacking up the price. The jerk."

"So...I guess I'll have to stay here then."

"Great! I could use some company."

"Yeah, great..." you trail off, and an awkward silence ensues.

*Several Eons Later*

"Any sevens?"

"Go fish."
