The Enchanted Maze
Sunlight sprinkles through your semi-open window, bringing the scent of spring with it. A large-sized alarm clock blares a pop song from ten years ago, and when you swing your feet, they don't touch the floor. Strange, though, you don't remember having so many toys in your room... or the dinosaur bedspread...
Oh no, you think. You DO recognize this place. It IS your room... when you were ten.
On cue, someone knocks on the door to your room and then immediately opens it. Your mother's face, looking years younger than it should be, pops in and suddenly smiles. "Well," she says, "you're up already! That's a surprise. Come on and get dressed, the school bus will be here in half an hour." Her head retracts and you're alone again in your room.
