The House On The Corner
You start to back up towards the screen door. She doesn't look like she would want your explanation right now. You fumble to find some words to say, and as soon as you feel your heel hit the screen, you swing around to run, when you realize the door is shut and is now covered with some sort of cobwebs. You fumble in your pocket for your penlight. How can that be, the door was just open? You turn back around, but the lady is gone and so is the smell of fresh baked pie. All you smell now is the old pungeunt smell of mildew. You say Hello, but the sound echos through the empty kitchen. You look off to the left and notice an old doorway with stairs going down, possibly to the cellar, but it may be wiser to just head for the front door and leave. This place is just too weird and too many odd things are happening. But then again, your curiosity is getting the better of you again.
